The latest communication supported by United Colors Of Benetton is The Unemployee Of The Year campaign. “The UNEMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR communication campaign, set up under the aegis of the UNHATE Foundation, seeks to challenge clichés about youth non-employment and asserts a belief in the creativity of the world’s youth. Through it, the UNHATE Foundation, whose aim is to promote a culture of non-hate, will support youth to become actors of change against indifference and stigma.”

I had an insight into what exactly advertising is all about and what ad campaigns are about. During the workshop we had a look at the company United Color of Benetton and their print ad campaigns. – Change of Plan + Existing Ad Campaigns

I presented my idea and design brief for critical feedback as well as finding out what I should do next. It was suggested to me that I have a look over my initial idea and try to create an advertisement that was almost quirky, exciting and somewhat ‘out of my comfort zone’. I needed to look and research more thoroughly into advertising agencies and see what kind of advertising campaigns they create.
