Below is the final brand guidelines for Curly Tresses:
– Creation of the Brankd Book: Imagery
The imagery for the brand was very much simple and engaing. High quality images should be used for the brand to express the variety of personalities found across the company. Beauty, curls and nature was what the images used needed to enforce and drive through.
– Creation of the Brand Book: Typography
Typography is a key element to communicate a unified personality for Curly Tresses. I have selected Century Gothic as the main font. Century Gothic is strong, yet it is not overbearing when writing in bold or even in CAPS.
– Creation of the Brand Book: Colour Palette
The colours of Curly Tresses really emphasised on the message of the brand. It also represented ‘nature and ‘organic’, which was something I wanted to highlight.

This section of the brand book was about the incorrect usage of the logo, showing examples of the different ways in which the logo should not be used.

To begin this stage of the process I first began to look into what makes a successful brand book and the key elements that it is made up of.
